Day 16a and 16b/30

Yes, my first truly missed day.  Not even time in the pool to call it good.

I was am very behind in my daily readings for Read Your Bible in One Year.  So on Wednesday, I decided to get up early and take a piece of advice from the Garden Gnome.  “No exercise for your body until you have exercised your soul.”  So I rolled out of bed at 6 am,  surprisingly easy compared to when I try to get up early to exercise!  I read the last week’s worth of readings before anyone else was up.  So now I’m only two weeks behind, but was caught up to discuss at bible study that evening.  Well, through one thing or another, (art class, finishing a project for a friend, curriculum fair) the treadmill never happened.  😦  But my heart was glad.  🙂

So today is part “b”.   2.5 miles on the treadmill in 44 mins.
And another episode of Parenthood.  Quite a good one!

Onwards and upwards!

Oh yeah, I weighed myself for the first time in probably a month, and I’m down 4 pounds!

Good for you! Do your devotions first and the rest will fall in place. Mat. 6:33 (GG’s translation)

Good job! If your heart is happy, your body will be happy too!
